It is an ergonomic and effective handgun based on proven performances that works flawlessly. The Ruger SR 1911 comes with the original 1911 fire control and two stainless steel magazines. Positive barrel lock-up helps accuracy. The huge beaver-tail grip provides great reliability. The lightweight, aluminum trigger gives a very crisp, light pull with a fast reset. This gun also has a skeletonized hammer and titanium firing for quicker lock time. In terms of safety, there is an extended thumb safety and side stop lever which means that the integral plunger tube for slide stop and thumb safety will never come loose. The oversized ejection port and extended magazine release increase its performance. Overall, Ruger SR 1911 is an ideal revolver for old-school-style fans.This is a very high quality pistol, is is good for collection, but it is also good for the home and for personal protection.
