Winchester Model 1894 rifle with standard 26" full octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt with rifle butt plate, plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, open sights, blued finish, serial number 888120, made in 1920, caliber 32 Winchester Special.
Barrel and mag exhibit 92% original bright blue. Bore is a 9 of 10. Receiver has flaked to gray. Action is crisp with a properly-working half cock safety. Fore arm is sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, still tight and proud. Butt stock shows loss at toe and at upper & lower tangs, does not appear to be sanded & refinished, just worn. Expected nicks, dings and scratches are present from 104 years of use. Sights include a Winchester series 22 with thumb print elevator and Marble/Sheard front. Tang screw replaced. Another good entry-level collector in a desirable configuration that will make a great shooter.
