Description:
A very pretty Custom Shop documented Winchester Model 21 made with 26” barrels. Top rib factory engraved “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER FOR J.G. GIMENEZ”. Polished brl flats with SN, proof stamps, and 2-3/4” chamber stamp. Bottoms of both tubes with “IMP-CYL” choke stamps. Beavertail forearm is checkered in point pattern with triangular ebony tip and has lightly scroll engraved blued roller type release and iron. Interior forearm is engine turned with SN stamped. Factory original flat side blued receiver engraved with light scroll in original 21-1 pattern. Blued long tang trigger guard with burst of scroll on bow. Gun made with gold plated SST, auto ejectors, non-auto safety. The flame figured straight stock American Walnut butt is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a thin leather covered Winchester pad.
Overall the gun remains in excellent and mostly original condition. Brls with about 98% of their lightly toning original blue. Forearm is excellent retaining more than 97% of its original finish. Frame retains about 90-95% of its original blue with thinning on lower left corner and at brl fences but mostly strong throughout. Buttstock is excellent retaining nearly all of its original finish with scattered very minor handling marks and some finish added for preservation. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent.
