Rare "H.H. HEISER" HOLSTER. This holster and belt takes a 6" barreled Colt Lightning or Thunderer, perfectly. Other revolvers that would also be perfect fit. Colt .22 Peacemaker, Ruger Single Six, Cimarron Lightning,
H. H. Heiser model #55 Right Side Holster in very good condition. Tightly Rawhide laced with No breaks, Tears, or Damage of any kind, just great patina. The main feature of this rig is that it is made of just four pieces with the belt and holster back cut from one piece of leather and all hand lace together. The length is 34 inches to the center hole and 39 inches overall. Hermann H. Heiser Manufacturing made this Model #55 Holster from Premium Skirting Leather. This holster is properly marked with the H. H. Heiser Denver Colo. in an oval and bar maker's mark logo which would date this holster from 1919 to 1940. You will note it has no safety strap as many Heiser holsters have, giving it the feel and appearance of an early Old West holster. If you are fortunate to have a Colt Lightning or Thunderer Model you need this holster. IT IS EVEN HARDER TO FIND THAN YOUR GUN. The leather is fully alive and will provide a century of wear. A Very Rare addition suitable for the finest collection.
