Description:
The Weatherby® Orion® 12 Gauge is a traditional boxlock Over/Under Shotgun, with a solid steel receiver. The receiver's low profile enhances point-ability, while directing recoil straight back to the shooter's shoulder, instead of the cheek, for rapid second shots. The safety/barrel selector switch is positioned on the tang where it is readily accessible with the thumb of either hand. Hard, chromed-lined bores and Weatherby's screw-in choke tubes minimize pellet deformation and deliver dense, consistently uniform patterns. Automatic ejectors throw empty hulls clear of the gun for fast reloading. A vent-rib with a single brass bead front sight allows instant target acquisition with a fluid swing and follow through. The Orion comes with a Grade A walnut buttstock with a sleek Prince of Whales checkered pistol grip, and checkered fore end. The beautifully finished Weatherby Orion Over/Under Shotgun balances superbly and shoulders instantly making it a fantastic all-round shotgun for upland birds to sporting clays and everything in between. 12 Gauge
