Description:
I'm selling my collection. Here is a Rare Stevens High-Power Model 425 chambered for the hard hitting .35 Remington caliber. Stevens manufactured from 1911 discontinued in 1917, Stevens was bought by Savage, the Stevens High Power 425 became too expensive to produce. It has an unique design capturing the best features of its lever action competitors at the time Winchester and Marlin. Little-known lever gun once made by Stevens its Model 425 High Power is easily the nicest traditional tubular magazine lever-action you may have never heard of. For some economical reasons at the time  the sale didn't go so well which account for the scracity of these Stevens High Power 425 . It's in an excellent working condition, the action works smoothy. 22" round barrel with a good bore slightly grainy in the groove with sharp rifling and a 2/3 magazine, it's originally factory tapped on the top the receiver for scope. It comes with rare period flexible tang/peep sight  ( just by itself $250 value) contributed greatly to shotalility and accuracy. Original factory blue finish rates 75% turning brownish patina. The wood bears the normal amount of handling marks and from gun rack, all visible on the pictures, the stock is slightly belly perch elegance of the time time period with its original checkered butt plate. What is not written on the description would be on the pictures. It was well kept and preserved. Very collectible. The old cartridges showed on the pictures are not for sale. Please don't ask for extra pictures. $1,625+ $85 insured shipping to your  home if you are a C&R or to your FFL dealer be sure that he is accepting direct transfer from a collector (if not an extra $100 will apply to these and also for California FFL dealers ), payable by cashier check, P.M.O or credit card with the usual charging fee. Please check out my other guns which are already set at a low price. Thank you.
