Description:
This is a Sako Safari .338 win mag bolt action rifle in excellent (as new) condition. The 24 inch barrel has a safari style rear sight with 1 fixed blade and 1 flip-up blade. The front sight has a hood and the front sling swivel is mounted to the barrel in front of the stock forearm. The deluxe oil finished walnut stock has a sculptured cheekpiece and has straight grain on the right side and dark figure on the left side and a rosewood forend. The forearm and pistol grip is finely checkered.The buttpad is an Old English by Pachmayr. There is a metal pistol grip cap. Underneath the barrel in front of the forearm is marked IMPORTED BY STOEGER. The bolt is marked with the last 3 digits of the serial number.
