Description:
This rare and unique Standard Arms Model M rifle is chambered in 25 Remington. Designed and patented by Morris F. Smith, only around 7,000 of the Standard Arms rifles were produced. This rifle features an elaborate and well-crafted bronze forearm and buttplate. The Model M is often considered the simpler, albeit better functioning sibling to the gas operated Model G rifle that Smith was awarded the patent to design. This rifle is truly a fantastic piece of history as Standard Arms was a very brief manufacturer in the firearms world from 1909-1912 and would reform as Standard Arms Mfg Co for a short period in 1913 before folding for good in 1914.
