Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .44 W.C.F. (.44-40) # 7 ½ chilled shot ammo manufactured by Winchester. The two piece, smokeless, red and black labeled box has an added label with "CHILLED SHOT" across the top with call out for the Model 73 rifle with a "1-20" date code. In very fine to near excellent condition the box shows inside professional repairs to the corners and has a small crush on the top left corner. The graphics are excellent with a nice cartridge cut and fully intact labels showing some very tiny flaking and rub wear. The side label has the shot size written in ink from the factory. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A seldom-seen box that remains in near excellent condition.
