***SOLD*** Very scarce Model 70 Super Grade in .22 Hornet caliber.
S/N 107321 with matching scribed bolt body made in 1949.
Excellent bluing over most, but I am rating at 96% due to some light oxidation near muzzle and on the floorplate.
98-99% Varnish. The wood looks a bit bright, but that is supported by the natural coloration of the raw barrel channel.
24" barrel with an excellent bore. Mechanical functions are also excellent.
Rare and correct Redfield 255 front sight, along with all other special and era appropriate Super Grade appointments including the robust detachable swivels.
The inside of floorplate is machined properly for its unique follower spring and so stamped with an "H". I have also verified the chamber has not been reamed to the value killing "K" hornet.
A difficult variant to find, especially in such overall nice condition!
