Description:
Browning FN HIgh-Power Safari Grade bolt action rifle. Caliber is .270 Win. It is in excellent used condition.
This rifle was made in Belgium, serial number 5L30907 dates to 1965. The serial number appears on the receiver, barrel, bolt handle and inside the stock.
The rifle has a 22 inch barrel and is equipped with a Redfield 3x-9x scope. The walnut Monte Carlo stock is excellent, with just minimal signs of use. No cracks, dings or signs of repair. Checkering is sharp and the gloss finish is like new. The barrel has some scratches, particularly on the bottom near the front sight. We have included pictures with the gun taken apart so you can see condition of wood and metal inside as well as out. There is no pitting or rust. The scope is clear, barrel bore is very nice and shiny. The bolt action is smooth.
The rifle has a Browning rubber recoil pad. Length of pull with the pad is 13 1/4". Overall length for the gun is 42 1/4".
The rifle weighs 8 lbs 13 oz.
