Serial Number 7102 Bbl, 6 1/2" Cal, .36 Percussion Mfg, 1861. Blue and case colored finished with silvered brass trigger guard and backstrap. Rebated 1/2 fluted cylinder with creeping loading lever with round barrel. Single line Colt's New York Address with varnished one piece walnut grips. Matching numbers with exception of wedge. Very earlry production and one of the most elegant of all Colt's percussion revolvers. Condition. Very fine with 60% blue finish remaining on barrel with strong bore with darkness in grooves. Cylinder retains 3 safety pins and finish has turned plum mixed with blue. Frame retains 60% fading case colors with silvering at edges and recoil shield. Grips are very fine with generous amounts of varnish and remain full sized. Action operates properly. Antique
