SOLD. COLT SINGLE ACTION TARGET MODEL...32 S & W CALIBER...5 1/2" BARREL...NICKEL FINISH......Saying this gun is rare is an understatement. On December 8, 1888 this revolver shipped to E.C. Meacham Arms Company, St. Louis, Missouri, in a shipment of 6. According to the book "The Official Record Colt Single Action Army Revolver 1873-1895" written by Don & Carrol Wilkerson and Kathleen Hoyt most target models were shipped with a 7 1/2" barrel and any other length is considered rare. From what I have read most of the target models were blue. Along with the Colt you will receive a box of .32-44 ammo and a nicely tooled holster. The restored nickel finish is super nice. It will rate 99%+. Action is strong. All four clicks are there. Lock-up is tight. The eagle grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. You will like this Colt Single Action Target Model.
