This is a professionally re-finished Carl Gustafs Model 1896 built in 1901. It is serial numbered 94258, barrel, receiver, bolt, barrel bands, ladder sight, magazine base plate and butt plate having matching numbers.  The gun features a 29” barrel with a mirror bore, all metalwork is finished in a matte blue with no loss of historical markings, excellent work! The rifle has a tuned trigger with nice take up and a crisp, clean break, ideal for target shooting! Indeed, this rifle came from the collection of a dedicated bullseye shooter. Thanks for looking!
