I have for sale a 1962 model 70 standard 30/06 serial number 558845 gun comes with a leaupold 3 to 9 variex 2 clear as a bell this gun was purchased new from the fella I picked it up from. I realize my dream of killing a moose with this gun is probably not going to happen condition wise this gun is all of ninety five percent great piece of wood blueing perfect any little marks on stock don't add up to anything I am not going to go on and on about this rig this rifle should go to a collector or a guy that wants a great pre-64 70 this caliber will handle anything on the north american continent I call this another great gun that has sat in the safe for years hate to see it go but as I have found out you can't keep them forever and my wife doesn't plan on taking up big game hunting probably will be looking for a new husband as soon as I check out back to business prefer phone to e-mail 860-637-7240 e-mail if you must I can respond if I have to gun a hundred percent original not even a mark on the floor plate even has sight hood price $1300.00
