Please read descriptions and terms, I will endeavor to be accurate. Description: An original, authentic Smith and Wesson Registered Magnum mailed from the S&W factory on September 4, 1935. This revolver was special ordered, and delivered to The Honeyman Hardware Company in Portland, Oregon. As you can see from the photos, this revolver was carried and used. The pictures tell the story of a revolver that is nearly 90 years old. Several years ago, I bought it from the original owner's daughter after the original owner passed away. She told me that he was a veteran the First World War and how difficult it was for him to afford it during the depression. She said that it was one of his most prized possesions. He always meticulously cared for it after each time in the field. She told me that he would take it out and hunt jackrabbits and that he always had more hits than misses. I felt fortunate to have acquired it because they are quite rare. Recently I obtained a S&W Factory letter for it to verify its originality. It has not been altered in any way, outside of normal wear, except that the S&W grip filler that was ordered with the revolver went missing years before I got it. I have shot it and it is accurate. The timing is perfect as is the bore, and it has a great trigger. I hate to sell it because I know that I will most likely never have another one, but it is time for someone else to enjoy this wonderful revolver that was built in America in a time when true craftsmen built fine firearms. I have pictures of the factory letters and order forms that I could text to you if you are interested. Insurance and Shipping will be paid by the Buyer. TERMS – PLEASE READ; PAYMENT - I can accept money orders, cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds). Payments via USPS & UPS are acceptable.
