Description:
The Model 42 harks back to the original 'camp gun" known as the Savage Model 24. It features .22 WMR over .410 bore and was designed for harvesting "camp meat" or pest control. The Model 42 features a slim stock, with many gripping ridges molded in. Its industrial look works well, and it retains a barrel selector on the hammer. A welcome add to the design is the manual extractor between the chambers. At less than 5 pounds, this gun is lighter than some pistols. .410 Bore
