S O L D ................... LOOKS MUCH BETTER THAN PHOTOS....Winchester Third Model 1873 Rifle with Round Barrel in .38-40 WCF....LAYAWAY?
Manufactured 1889
.38-40 WCF. 24" round barrel with full magazine. SN: 291416B. Finish is bare, most likely blued with case hardened parts. Two piece walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm. Lever action rifle with adjustable semi buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight. Item features a full tube magazine.
Condition Report
Very good overall. Bore is a little frosty, with scattered pitting visible rifling and some residue. Finish is mostly bare with some faint patches of bluing, light scattered pitting and light scratching overall. Buttplate has clusters of heavier pitting. Wood stock has scattered light scratches and mars, as well as light finish losses to bottom edge and bottom of forearm.
