Winchester Third Model 1873 Rifle in
.32-20 WCF. 24" octagonal barrel with full magazine. SN: 262346B (mfg. ca.1888). Blued finish, color casehardened lever and hammer, brass cartridge lifter, smooth walnut forend and straight gripped stock with crescent buttplate. Lever action tubular magazine fed rifle with semi-buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sight and replaced dovetailed blade front sight. Standard Winchester markings on barrel, serial number on lower tang and caliber markings on both the brass cartridge lifter and the barrel.

Condition Report
Good. Bore about good, mostly dark and oxidized with worn but visible rifling and scattered pitting. Metal with moderately oxidized brown patina with some traces of blue in protected areas and moderate amounts of scattered surface roughness and some lightly scattered pitting. Hammer and lever with some minute traces of case color. Markings remain legible throughout. Action is mechanically functional. Wood with moderate wear, retaining no finish with scattered bumps, dings and mars and possibly lightly sanded. An honest used weapon of the old west,
