Description:
The first pump-action shotgun designed specifically for .410 was introduced by Winchester in 1933 as the Model 42. Its appearance is essentially a scaled-down variant of the famous Winchester Model 12. Winchester Chief Design Engineer William Roemer made some internal changes to allow the use of the smaller .410 shell. Widely considered "The greatest little shotgun in the world" at its time of release, the Model 42 has become an essential part of any Winchester collection.
