Savage Model 1899 CD 1/2 octagon 30-30 lever rifle with brass cartridge counter and steel cocking indicator. Fine varnished checkered long forearm, with replaced butt stock. Condition: Very fine with replaced butt. Excellent bore and fine mechanics. Rare rifle. Mfg 1901.1 Savage 99’s were finished in serial number order. The dates are as close as can be identified, but any specific rifle might have been finished months or even years later than others in it’s serial number range!
