Description:
This firearm belongs to a client of mine. He and his father purchased it new and used it for a couple of deer hunts. He doesn't believe there has been more than a box of shells through it. It has the coveted "JM" stamp. This is a beautiful lever action rifle.
What I could find on the history of it:
The Glenfield 30A was produced from around 1971/1972 to about 1981/1982 when it became the Marlin Mod 30. They are a quality Marlin made under the Glenfield name. They have the hardwood stocks, end cap and one barrel band, dovetailed front sight, and a non-folding rear sight---the rest of the rifle is pretty much the same as the Mod 336.
