Description:
Winchester Model 1886 .33 WCF. Made in 1909 and supported by the included factory letter, serial 145760 (followed by "A" on tang) has a 24-inch nickel steel round barrel (Marble's/Sheard brass-beaded blade, "1/2' magazine, adjustable rear sight). The letter indicates original shipment stock had a shotgun butt with rubber plate. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.25 inches. CONDITION: The bore is shows strong rifling with moderate browning and occasional traces of frost and machine marks. Mechanics are solid. Barrel/tube finish is approximately 50 percent. Receiver is approxiately 20 percent with general silvering and browning with trace freckling. Wood is solid with general impressions, scratching and thinning to about 40 percent. The price is firm and layaway is available. $3,000 plus shipping.
