Description:
JP Sauer & Son Model 8 in 20 Gauge. This gun was manufactured in the Suhl, East Germany by JP Sauer and imported by Simpson to the United States. This is a Model 8 Sauer, the same, basic gun that's been sold as a Merkel, Simpson, or Sauer for over a century, made in Suhl, Germany, with Krupp steel barrels. The 26 1/2- Inch barrels are choked Improved Cylinder/Improved Cylinder and have 2 3/4-inch chambers. It has double triggers, cocking indicators, original butt plate, and matching numbers. It has a beautiful stock with cheek piece and finely checkered splinter forend. The LOP is 14 3/4-inches from the front trigger. It is in excellent condition with a tight action and mirror bores. 20 Gauge
