J. Roberts & Son, based in London, England, crafted this exceptional .270 Winchester Bolt Sporting Rifle in 2001, bearing serial number 27727. Utilizing an FN Mauser bolt action with a three-position safety, this rifle exemplifies British gunmaking at its finest.
With a 4+1 capacity, a 14.25-inch length of pull, and weighing in at 7 pounds 14.6 ounces, this rifle is both balanced and robust. The 24-inch barrel features a clear bore with sharp rifling, ensuring precision and reliability in the field. Equipped with 30mm swing-off scope rings, it offers flexibility for mounting optics.
The rifle is in very good overall condition, showing faint wear typical of its age and use. The action is smooth, and the trigger is crisp, providing a satisfying shooting experience. Notable features include a bolt with a three-position side safety, a magazine with a hinged base plate, a recoil stud, a half-length figured stock with a pistol grip, and a rubber recoil pad.
