This is an exceptional, scarce Colt 1911A1 from 1941 with brushed blue finish prior to the change to parkerization. One of <20,000 blued examples produced in 1941. It has 98-99% of the original blue remaining, with minor high edge wear on the slide and around the muzzle. Proper 'G' barrel with mint bore. Early, minty wood grips. Slide has matching serial number to the frame. Commercial Colt mag.
