A Scarce & Desirable Civil War "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield" Marked Bag Style Powder Flask For A Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver Or Other Fine Percussion Pistol In Excellent Plus Condition. The flask has perfect markings on the top. The flask has an excellent plus body as shown with tight seams. The flask retains all of its bright original factory lacquer throughout it. The original top with adjustable charger is excellent plus throughout and retains its original gilt on it. The original spring retains its original finish on it. The flask works perfectly. It measures 5-1/2 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches wide at the largest point at the bottom.
