About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. All firearms transactions will be handled by a local Gun shop and will follow all firearms laws. All firearms purchased will be shipped by them to your F.F.L. I do my best to price my items fairly. Description:
This is a Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Standard Rifle in the classic .270 WCF chambering. This rifle was made in 1950 and has the desirable low-comb stock with the original steel buttplate. The full oval pistol grip that this rifle has is also a rare feature as these stocks were phased out starting in 1946. The rifle has a great bore and is accurate. This rifle has not been altered in any way and except for normal wear is in the same configuration as it came from the factory. It has the correct Winchester 22G rear sight and still has the original sight hood over the front sight. The bolt is numbered to the receiver. As you can see from the pictures, this rifle has been used over its 74 years of life. There are marks on the stock and some blemishes to the metal. I have emphasized these flaws in the pictures. There is a very small chip on the toe of the stock.If you are looking for a classic hunting rifle that has some character and experience, this may be the one for you.

My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. No private sales on firearms!
SAFTY NOTICE- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges & if paid for with a credit card, the buyer absorbs the 3% credit card charges. Please ask questions.
