An Early U.S. Civil War Eagle, Shield, & Stars Flask For A Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver In Very Nice Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The flask has a fine double sided body with tight seams. It has one tiny light ding in it towards the top on one side. The Military Motifs on both sides include "An Eagle & Shield, Stars, Crossed Pistols," & "E PLURIBUS UNUM" on the bottom. The flask retains a lot of original factory brown lacquer on it with a couple of small areas starting to thin into a natural patina. The original spring still has its fire blue color and the flask operates nicely. It measures 4 1/2 inches long and is 2 inches wide at the widest point. This Is A Fine Example Of A U.S. Civil War Eagle, Shield, & Stars Flask For A Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver That Would Look Nice In A Cased Set!
