RARE MINT HI-STANDARD G-380, CAL. .380 ACP, SER.5982. Mfg. 1949.This factory new G-380 is the only center fire pistol Hi-Standard ever made. A total of only 7400 were made from 1947 TO 1950. They were ORIGINALLY designed during W.W. II to fill a government O.S.S. contract. Shortly after a contract was given production was to begin in Sept.1945.. However the war ended and the contract was cancelled. High Standard had already made about 6000 guns so they stopped production and proceeded to offer them to the public.TheG 380 was the only centerfire sutomtic pistol they ever made This one is a guaranteed to be an"UNFIRED FACTORY NEW GUN" it has retained 100% of the original factory finish. All parts are original to the gun. The slide rails, feed ramp, bolt and magazine follower show no use. The bore still has the original factory blue in it. The absolute proof that it has never been fired. This awesome package comes with an original .380 magazine, the gun's factory original but age worn black box numbered to the gun and finally, the factory brochure.
