An excellent condition Pre Model 29 5 Screw revolver, probably the best post war handgun Smith & Wesson ever manufactured, in the most popular barrel length (6.5 inches) and with the infamous "Coke Bottle" grips. No box only the wonderful revolver. The gun has been fired and bore and chambers are in excellent condition. We detect a touch of cold blue added in places - probably to touch up slight holster wear. Has the usual red ramp front sight and white outline rear, target hammer, target trigger, etc. Lots of folks would be insanely happy if S&W would reproduce this revolver EXACTLY as it is without any changes or so called improvements (Are you listening S&W?)
