This is a Remington 11/11A autoloader shotgun. It holds the patents of the Browning A5. It was likely manufactured in the late 1920‚‚s.
The serial number is on the bottom of the receiver: 232339
This firearm has an 18\" barrel. It appears as though it was a longer barrel originally, but got cut down to 18\". The bluing is wearing off and the stock has been poorly refinshed. There are drippings from the laquer and the stock still has knicks and dents in it.
Take the appearance out - this is a fantastic self defense firearm. It is short and easy to manuveur. It is a semi-auto and holds 5 shells. This gun would be a great bedside firearm.
