Description:
Serial #1884NBF, .22 LR, 4 5/8 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Confederate General Forrest commemorative Frontier Scout 22 Single Action Army revolver manufactured by Colt in 1968 featuring "GENERAL NATHAN BEDFORD FORREST" on the barrel with gold plated barrel, frame, hammer and trigger with contrasting high polished blue cylinder and grip frame. In excellent, like new condition, the metal surfaces retain virtually all, 99% plus original finish with no sign of turn marks on the cylinder and only faint handling blemishes. The grips with gold rampant Colt medallions rate excellent. It comes in the original locking red velvet lined case with faux brown leather exterior that has gold embossed image. The hinge pins have been removed from the case and are no longer present. An excellent example of a Colt commemorative Frontier Scout revolver. FFL or C&R
