Antique Colt 1851 Martially Marked Navy 3rd Model .36 percussion that was manufactured in 1856. All matching numbers on this Civil War era piece. Rare 168 year old gun that had its octagon barrel cut back from 7 1/2" to 5 1/2" somewhere during its early years. U.S. stamp clearly visible on left side of revolver. U.S.N. stamped on bottom of iron strap. Other Inspectors Stamps throughout the gun. Action functions fine with a tight lock up. All parts fit tightly with one another. Good bore with deep lands and grooves. Just a nice Civil War Era collectible. $35.00 insured shipping.
