English gunmaker John Sharpe Half Stock Muzzle Loading Musket measuring in at the bore 15.75mm with a single round capacity and a 42" barrel. Brass butt plate. Hand checkered half length wood stock. Engraved brass trigger guard. Finish worn trigger, hammer, frizzen, lock plate and barrel. Front fixed blade sight. Under barrel removable homemade wood ramrod. Lock-plate marked Sharpe. Top of barrel marked London with two proofs. Small inlaid silver plate for engraving the owners initials, blank. Antique Black Powder Flintlock, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers homes. Condition: Antique, Very Good with scratches, finish wear/loss, wood damage/repair's, rust/pitting and handling wear. The smooth bore has rust.
