Description:
Serial #222046, .38 S&W (smokeless), 3 1/8" round ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Police Auto-Ejecting Second Model, top break revolver manufactured by Harrington & Richardson. It is the same as the Auto-Ejecting Third model identified by Goforth in his H&R Arms Co. book distinguished by the bobbed hammer. The patent markings on the rib place production between 1909-1912. In near excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 80-85% of the original blue with thinning, silvering on the high edges and some scattered freckling. The grips rate very good plus with some use marks and a small surface crack on the right stock. The lock up is tight with proper timing and a crisp trigger. FFL or C&R
