Here's a Excellent Example of a Civil War Surgical Kit with Confederate History ! This kit is only missing a few tools . Made by Charles Baker in London . ID'D to William Bellinger. It was purchased from the family . As you can see from the photo of the Plaque on Case they only could fit in most of his last name but not all of it . The last name on plaque last name is Bellin. Ends in a Period! The engraver could not fit his whole last name on plaque . This was 1860's the Civil War was on ! Case is in excellent condition with slight cracks and scuffs on the Beautiful Burl Fancy Wood. Brass fixtures . Excellent overall. As you can see in photos most all of the tools are present! Case measures Apx 22"x 18"x 4" . Comes with letter provinance and paperwork on William Bellinger Military History! Enlisted in Florida.
