Beautiful Holland & Holland Compact, 'toe-under' Leather Gun Case! $695.00
The case will fit a 16g or 12g side by side shotgun with 28" barrels (without a doll's head). Its outside dimensions are 30"x7"x3.5". To give you an idea of whether your gun will fit, the gun pictured is a 12 gauge 28" barrels with a 15" LOP (this stock length easily fits, and could take a good deal longer!) The outside has some marks and scrapes. Includes pair of leather straps that are cracked and repaired but serviceable. There is no key.
It has the initials C.G.L.R (matching the service label on the outside of the case) stamped on the top. The inside is in overall great shape with a few minor scuffs and has a Rosewood cleaning rod. No Key. For a case of this vintage, it is in fine shape and would complement any shotgun you choose to put in it! It has a gold embossed Holland & Holland label and an additional label with information pertaining to the gun that originally lived in the case. There is also an additional outside H&H label indicating the original owners name and that the gun was submitted for service.
The gun serial number would indicate that this case was from the later 1930's
