Description:
Winchester Pre-64 Model 70 Super Grade Rifle .375 H&H Magnum. Manufactured in 1950. Ramped beaded blade front and two leaf flip up rear notch sights, standard barrel markings, and Winchester "WP" proofs at the breech. Standard markings, polished bolt with late safety, polished follower, and "SUPER GRADE" marked floorplate. The receiver is mounted with a Lyman Alaskan scope on a Griffin and Howe mount. Multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with black forend tip, hard rubber Winchester grip cap with initial escutcheon marked "J/G/P", raised cheek piece, and red rubber Winchester recoil pad. Butt stock wood has been cut and pad refit to give a length of pull of 13 inches. Manufactured 1950. .375 H&H Magnum

Metal Condition: "Good, retaining 95% original blue finish with some muzzle wear, areas of fine surface pitting on the barrel and some wear on the bolt handle
Wood Condition: Stock is very fine with some separation at the seam of the nosecap and some varnish loss at the nosecap as well as overall crisp checkering. Butt stock has been cut and shortened and the pad refit for a length of pull of 13 inches.
