"This is a very well made copy of a Colt 3rd Model Dragoon. Serial number 18618. Made in 1860. 44 caliber with a This gun has a smooth brown artificial patina. This gun was made with numerous rare features such as an 8" barrel, iron trigger guard and back strap and “U.S.N." on the butt. This gun comes with a letter from famed dealer Arnold Marcus Chernoff who attests to its authenticity. We wholeheartedly disagree with Mr. Chernoff’s assessment. If this gun were original, it would be a one of a kind worth $30,000-$50,000.
