This Turkish Ottoman Empire flintlock pistol was purchased in 1958 by my father while stationed in Izmir, Turkey as a US Army intelligence officer. Incredible ornate design and inlaid detail. What looks like engraving is instead very intricate metal work done on the whole gun. Measures 15.25 inches overall.
