Description:
Sako L579 Forester .243 Winchester. Made in Finland and absent any importer's legend, serial 74549 has a 23-inch barrel (hooded ramp front sight with serrated face to blade). Features include a polished blue finish and knurled bolt knob. The walnut stock has good figure, Monte Carlo comb, cheek rest, logo butt plate and sling loops. INCLUSIONS: Factory rings (1-inch) and factory aperture sight (attaches to rear dovetail) are present. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 7.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.85 inches. CONDITION: The bore is outstanding, strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 98 percent with minimal indications of being afield. Wood is approximately 97 percent with minor impressions on edges of the grip flare. Aperture is approximately 98 percent. Rings are approximately 95 percent with some screw slots buggered. The price is firm, layaway is available and accessories will not be separated. $1,500 plus shipping.
