Payment Types Accepted: USPS Money Orders, Personal Checks or Wire Transfers Description: Freedom Arms Model 83 Premier Grade - Chambered in 357 MAGNUM / 353 CASULL – 4 ¾” Barrel, in used but excellent+ condition, meticulously maintained, with less than 75 rounds fired. It would cost over $4,300 to order this revolver as optioned from Freedom Arms today, with the following included accessories: Diamond D Leather "Guides Choice" Chest Holster & Red Dot Sight Mount (Trijicon RMR).  Note: The Trijicon RMR red dot sight pictured is not included in the sale. Freedom Arms guns are built entirely of 17-4 hardened stainless steel, as precisely as possible. Their precision is greater than any other domestic revolver manufacturer. You won't find cylinder gaps larger than .002", wobbly cylinders or misaligned chambers. It is the strongest revolver commercially available and the highest quality single action ever produced. Their accuracy, due to the tight tolerances and linebored chambers, is legendary with many guns shooting 1" groups at 100yds. The grip frames are very well designed and handle recoil well, being reminiscent of the 1860 Army. The Premier Grade Model 83 has a bright, brushed finish with more attention to cosmetic detail than the Field Grade Model. Premier Grade rear sights are screw adjustable for elevation and windage. All Model 83’s have a manual sliding bar safety. The Model 83 is a robust, 5-shot, single action revolver. It’s the only revolver recommended for use with 353 Casull loads. With the 353 Casull, virtually the only limitation is the strength of the .357 Magnum cartridge case. Muzzle velocities of 1650fps and muzzle energy of 1087 ft. lbs. have been reported in 353 loadings using a 180 grain bullet. I bought this revolver for bear protection on an elk hunting trip I never took. I sighted it in at 100 yards using a 1 MOA Trijicon RMR Red Dot Sight with both Buffalo Bore Heavy 357 Magnum 125 gr. JHP (1700fps/M.E. 802 ft. lbs.) and Heavy 357 Mag Outdoorsman180 gr. Hard Cast LFN-GC (1400fps/M.E. 783 ft. lbs.) ammunition. I was able to achieve under 1” groups with both  loads.
