Description:
A very beautiful Browning Model 53 in .32-20 WCF. This is a Deluxe Grade, Limited Edition, Lever action Rifle that pays homage to the original Winchester model 53. Only 5000 made in 1990. It comes with the original box and the owners manual. It has bright bluing and a highly figured deluxe checkered walnut stock with a button magazine. This rifle has been used and has been fired about 200 rounds. There are multiple scratches into the poly finish (not into the wood), and for someone who has patience this beautiful wood could be made to look like new. There are also some scratches in the metal as shown in the pictures. If you are looking for a pristine 99% condition rifle, this is not the one for you. But, if you are looking for a modern classic lever action that you can shoot and enjoy, and maybe restore, here you are. The action locks up tight and is silky smooth to work. The sights are just like the original ones. This would make a great small game rifle and could also take a deer at a reasonable range.
