Description:
Hard-to-find Parker Reproduction DHE Steel Shot Special!! According to Jack Skeuse, son of Tom Skeuse (the man behind the Parker Reproduction), the total number of shotguns produced was about 12,225, where only 350 of those were DHE 12 gauge Steel Shot Specials. Based on the original Parker "0" frame they were carefully crafted with a color hardened action body with DHE style game scene and scroll engraving. Overall, condition is good with some scratching and denting on the stock (see pictures). This gun has a beautiful patina which will be enjoyed by generations to come. It is among the DHE's best features which include its comfortable feel in the hand, nice wood, well executed engraving, good balance, and overall fine workmanship. A DHE is a handsome gun. Barrels are solid ribbed with single bead, the 28" barrel is choked with a full and improved cylinder fixed. This firearm is being offered by the Boise Cabela's Gun Library.
