The is a one shoulder strap/belt loop WWII USN Standard Issue Shoulder Holster for the 1911A1 .45 Colt pistol. This dated 1944 Boyt holster is in excellent condition with original field applied black polish over the brown leather. The leather on the straps is fading over time but the body of the holster is still dark black. The hardware is in excellent condition with light verdigris. This holster is still fully functioning with pliable leather throughout.
