Weatherby Mark V Deluxe rifle, caliber .340 Weatherby Magnum. This bolt action rifle was made in Japan, the serial number H80456 dates to about the mid 1970s. The Mark V has a 26 inch barrel, a walnut Monte Carlo stock with checkering and rosewood tipped forend and grip cap. Factory Weatherby recoil pad. A Leupold Vari -X II 2x7 scope has been added.
The overall condition of this rifle is excellent. The stock has a nice gloss finish, with minimal light scratches and handling marks. There is one larger surface scratch on the left side of the buttstock, seen in photos. There are no cracks or signs of repairs. The metal retains a beautiful blued finish, we estimate bluing at 98% plus. The bore is bright. The scope is clear, bolt action smooth. The gun weighs 9 1/2 lbs with the scope.
