FINE, COLT 1911-A1, CAL. .45ACP. SER. 929736 MFG. 1943. THIS "ICONIC U.S.COLT" PISTOL RETAINS ABOUT 95+% 0F THE ORIGINAL PARKERIZED FACTORY FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS, IS DUE TO THE USUAL SHARP EDGE SILVERING FROM HOLSTER WEAR, THE COMMON SLIDE MARK FROM THE RECOIL OF THE PISTOL AND THE ALWAYS PRESENT TAKE DOWN LEVER SCRATCH.. THERE ARE NO RUST PATCHES ANYWHERE. ALL PARTS ARE ORIGINAL THIS 1945 COLT. .THE TOP OF THE SLIDE AND THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FRAME HAVE THE PROPER "P" PROOF AND "GHD" INSPECTOR'S PROOF. THE RIGHT REAR OF THE FRAME HAS THE CROSSED CANNONS ORDNANCE STAMP. ALL PARTS ARE ORIGINAL TO THE GUN INCLUDING THE SERIALIZED SLIDE. THE GRIP STRAPS SHOW NO SIGN OF GRAYING. THE PLASTIC GRIPS ARE THE PROPER COLT WOOD TYPE 7 AND PERFECT AS ARE THE SCREWS. THE BOLT FACE, SLIDE RAILS AND FEED RAMP SHOW ONLY VERY SLIGHT USE. THE ORIGINAL BARREL IS PROPERLY STAMPED "COLT. .45 ACP".. THE GUN COMES WITH ONE STAMPED "R" , RISDON MFG. MAGAZINE THE BORE IS LASER BRIGHT WITH WITH RAZOR SHARP RIFLING, NOT A WHISP OF FROST ANYWHE.
