Description:
BSA Hunter model rifle chambered in 22 Hornet. The Hunter model action is the shortest of the three that BSA produced in the 1950s and 60s. It is just right for the Hornet and 222. These were quality rifles, controlled round feed with claw extractor. Fully adjustable trigger, and two position safety on the bolt shroud that locks the firing pin and bolt. Integral dovetails for scope mounting. Hinged floorplate with release inside the trigger guard. 24" barrel with VG bore. The metal is VG, the stock could use a refinish.
These early BSA actions make up fine custom rifles, I would be glad to provide photos of what they can be turned into. The Hunter model is scarce. Priced at $1425 OBO.
