Description:
15,000 of these Ruger Single Six Revolvers were manufactured in 1975 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Colorado statehood. This gun has a 6 1/2" barrel with "1876 * Colorado Centennial *, U.S. Bicentennial * 1779" rolled stamped on the left side of the barrel. The top of the barrel is marked "STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.". The front sight is a serrated blade integral to a base screwed to the barrel. The left side of the frame is marked "RUGER 22 CAL / NEW MODEL SINGLE-SIX".The grips are a two-piece rosewood with Ruger medallions. The cylinders are non-fluted with roll markings "* Colorado * The Centennial State * 1876 - 1976 *" on both the .22 LR & .22 Magnum cylinders. The grip frame is stainless steel with "1876 Colorado 1976" roll stamped on the bottom of the butt. This gun is in excellent unfired condition and comes in a Colorado Centennial rosewood display case.
